Google Chrome is getting an update today that would enable richer notifications for all users on Windows OS.
Work is not complete on OS X and Linux. Google is aiming to launch it for OS X next followed by Linux in the coming weeks/months.
Rich notifications already work very well with Google properties like Gmail and Google Play Music.
Hopefully, third party web services would now start adding support for it.
