Simply speaking, article marketing is the mode of marketing in which a person interested in promoting his blog or website writes quality articles and submits them to websites called article directories. At the end of each article the author is allowed to introduce a few lines about himself and give high quality links pointing back to his site. The visitors read these articles and if they find it interesting visit the author?s website too.

How to write quality content acceptable to most article directories?
In order to get inclusion in an article directory you will have to abide by the submission guidelines provided by the directory. I have made a list of things your should take care of while writing an article:
1. The content that you intend to submit must be your own work. If you want to submit articles with public rights rewrite them in your own style.
2. Your articles must be of 350 words at least. Some directories may demand 500-600 words.
3. Most directories disallow links in the article body and provide you with a recourse box for links. More over affiliate links and links pointing to adult sites are also not allowed.
